OK if you like your home and don't wish it damaged and don't want any new trash plants, you should skip the "gotta kick them all" mini game and sell or appease them as an army of gnomes breaking stuff can do a number on your home unless your family is large and fast at kicking them nasty flaming gnomes that appear everywhere breaking stuff. Then all those piles of trash to search for more parts then drag them outside and get some trash plants. Besides look at all the parts you will get fixing everything they break. I usually go with the most fun option and kick the gnomes. The first two are far more profitable but the latter is much more fun in my opinion. The sims will walk right through it like the fence or gate is not even there. Appeasing them gets you seeds, selling them gets you cash, but kicking them gets you a chance to play a game with every breakable object in your home possibly ruined if you don't win. If I tell them to throw that away, they carry it inside to throw it out indoors, then try to take out the trash, encounter the bugged can, and throw it on the ground again. Aftermath of this guy kicking my trashcan not once, but twice after i cleaned it up the first time. Get rid of all your outdoor cans and use a NanoCan Touchless Trash Can.it should still be bottomless like it is designed to be even if it won't let you feed it plates for money anymore and you do get 10 simoleons if your SIM puts something in there themself. My Sim will set them back upright but will insist they can no longer use it to take trash out and will instead just throw things on the ground next to it.
